With Rocken, sending assets to someone else is easy.

If your counterparty is a Rocken user, you can send both fiat and crypto to their Rocken wallet. Assets will reach them instantly, even crypto. In this case, crypto is moved within Rocken, not on the blockchain network, which saves you time and fees.

Sending assets within Rocken

In the app

1. On the main screen, tap the Send button with the bent arrow.
2. Choose ‘To a Rocken user’ at the top.
3. Enter the email the target Rocken wallet is linked to, or the target wallet ID that the recipient sent you.
4. Tap the > sign next to Source wallet to select your source wallet for this transfer. It can be any of your fiat or crypto wallets.
   Note that you can also select the asset your recipient will receive. It does not have to be the same as your source asset. You can send USD for your recipient to get BTC, or any other combination of supported assets. This is handy when you don’t have the asset your recipient expects; you can convert it from the assets you have on the fly.
5. Next to Receive, select the target asset from the drop-down list.
6. Enter the amount, tap Send, and confirm the transfer.

On the web

1. On the main screen, click the Send funds button with the bent arrow.
2. Choose ‘To a Rocken user’ at the top.
3. On the transfer page, you will be able to select the source wallet for the transfer. It can be any of your fiat or crypto wallets.
4. Enter the email the target Rocken wallet is linked to, or the target wallet ID that the recipient sent you.
5. Enter the amount, click Transfer and confirm the transaction.

Sending assets outside Rocken

If your counterparty is not a Rocken user yet (invite them to sign up!), you can send them crypto via the blockchain network. You can also send fiat funds to their Visa or Mastercard.

In the app

1. On the main screen, tap the Send button with the bent arrow.
2. To send fiat funds to your recipient’s Visa or Mastercard, tap ‘To card’ and enter its number and amount.
3. To send crypto to an external (non-Rocken) crypto wallet, tap ‘To crypto’ at the bottom.
4. Choose the asset you would like to send.
5. After that, you will be able to paste the wallet address your recipient gave you, or scan their QR code via your phone’s camera.
6. Tap Continue and complete the transfer.

On the web

1. On the main screen, click the Send funds button with the bent arrow.
2. Choose your preferred asset from the list next to ‘To cryptocurrency’ at the bottom.
3. Then, you will be able to choose the source crypto wallet for the transfer.
   Note that when you change the source asset, the target asset also changes. If you want to load a crypto wallet, you can return to the main screen and go to Add funds or Exchange for that.
4. Enter the crypto wallet address your recipient gave you, check all other details, especially if you are sending XRP coins, and click Transfer to send the assets.
